PHUONG NAM INSTITUTE SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT ON TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WITH DONG THAP UNIVERSITY

With the aim of developing high-quality human resources and building professional training programs, Phuong Nam Institute of Social Resource Development (Phuong Nam Institute) continues to expand cooperation with educational institutions to enhance training quality and meet the development needs of society

On January 6, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Phuong Nam Institute signed a cooperation agreement with Dong Thap University.

• In attendance at the ceremony, representatives of Dong Thap University included: Assoc. Prof. Ho Sy Thang - Vice President of Dong Thap University; together with distinguished faculty members who are representatives of the university's leadership units. 
• Representing Phuong Nam Institute were Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Vy – Director of Phuong Nam Institute, together with distinguished faculty members who are representatives of Scientific Advisory Council and the departments/units/centers of Phuong Nam Institute.

In particular, the ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Nguyen Van Tuan - Director of the Medical Technology Center; Distinguished Professor of University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The Cooperation Signing Ceremony between Dong Thap University and Phuong Nam Institute.

After a period of discussions and mutual agreement, the two institutions reached a high level of consensus on the areas of cooperation. Representatives of both parties proceeded to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on training and professional development. The cooperation covers consultancy in student recruitment for training and professional development programs at various levels and in different formats, as well as coordination in the implementation of scientific and technological activities.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Prof. Nguyen Van Tuan shared: When listening to your sharing about the cooperation with Phuong Nam Institute, and as I myself have also been involved in teaching in several collaborative programs with the Institute in recent times, I feel deeply engaged and appreciative. I hope that in the near future, I will have the opportunity to return to Dong Thap to further share some experiences in scientific research, especially in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence, through classes such as today’s program. I hope that today’s meeting and signing ceremony will open up many practical cooperation programs in the future. At the same time, I also hope that I will continue to have good health so that I can remain involved and contribute to cooperative activities and knowledge sharing with you all. Once again, I am very pleased to meet my colleagues here.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding demonstrates the proactive spirit and strong commitment of both institutions to promoting cooperation in training, research, and the development of high-quality human resources. The clearly defined agreed contents will create favorable conditions for the two institutions to work together in activities that deliver value to the community and society.

This cooperation signing ceremony has contributed to leveraging the strengths of both parties, marking a new stage of development and further enhancing efforts toward the effective implementation of training activities, scientific research, knowledge transfer, and community service.
