Commencement date: 7:30 AM, January 6, 2026

To contribute to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation - which includes tasks and solutions related to the development and strategic employment of high-quality human resources and talents to meet the demands of scientific, technological, and digital advancement, Phuong Nam Institute respectfully informs about the organization of the expert course "Applications of AI in Data Analysis", primarily conducted by Prof. Tuan V Nguyen, world’s top 0.05% of scholars in the specialties of osteoporosis, bone density, and bone mineral (according to ScholarGPS, 2025).

The main course objective is to equip participants with essential statistical methods for scientific data analysis. Participants will practice techniques for comparing differences between two groups of variables; Correlation analysis; Building and testing regression models; in particular, methods such as Meta-analysis, Propensity Score, Mendelian Randomization, and the applications of AI in data analysis.

I. COURSE OBJECTIVE

The main course objective is to equip participants with essential statistical methods for scientific data analysis.

II. COURSE PARTICIPANTS

The course participants are required to have knowledge of the experimental research process and basic statistics (such as mean, median, standard deviation), but no prior knowledge of R is necessary.

III. FACILITATORS

1. Prof Tuan V Nguyen

Prof. Tuan V Nguyen is a Leadership Fellow of the National Health and Medical Research Council and Distinguished Professor of Predictive Medicine of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS); He also holds an Adjunct Professorship at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia).
