    As rapid advancements in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation become key drivers of national development, elevating research capacity, data analysis skills, and the mastery of modern technological tools is now an academic and professional imperative. These competencies are crucial for faculty members, researchers, healthcare professionals, postgraduate students, and individuals engaged in research-related activities.

    In response to the increasing demand for advancing knowledge, strengthening data analysis competencies, and integrating science and technology into research practice, Phuong Nam Institute is pleased to organize the expert course "Regression Analysis: Applications with R and AI", delivered directly by Prof Tuan V Nguyen. Designed to integrate theoretical foundations with hands-on data analysis using R and AI-assisted applications, the course provides participants with both conceptual understanding and practical skills in regression analysis. The course content is outlined as follows:

I. COURSE OBJECTIVE

Participants will be:

  - Equipped with a solid statistical foundation, encompassing the theoretical principles and practical applications of three core regression models: linear, logistic, and Cox regression.

  - Empowered to build R programming skills from foundational to advanced levels, with a strong emphasis on real-world data analysis across diverse scientific disciplines.

  - Guided in the systematic use of AI throughout the entire analytical workflow, including data processing, code generation, data visualization, interpretation of results, and research reporting.

  - Introduced to Machine Learning concepts in the context of regression analysis, enabling participants to understand the transition from statistical inference to prediction and prognostic modeling.

  - Encouraged to develop self-directed learning and adaptability, enabling participants to confidently expand their knowledge and skills in statistics and programming beyond the course.

II. TARGET PARTICIPANTS

The course is designed for:

  - Postgraduate students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates in health sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, economics, engineering, and related fields;

  - Early-career faculty members, researchers, and science administrators at universities, healthcare institutions, and research institutes;

  - Data analysts working in research organizations, hospitals, government agencies, or enterprises that require structured data analysis;

  - Physicians, pharmacists, and nurses who wish to conduct clinical or epidemiological research;

  - Individuals with a passion for scientific research seeking to enhance their knowledge of contemporary data analysis methodologies.
