THE COURSE SERIES "QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS USING R – FROM BASIC TO ADVANCED"
Commencement date: January 8, 2027
In alignment with the national orientation toward promoting science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, by the Politburo sets forth requirements for developing high-quality human resources, efficiently utilizing data, and enhancing research and application of advanced technologies. Among these, data and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly opening up new approaches for research, data analysis, and decision-making support across various fields.
In research practice, each type of data requires a distinct analytical approach, from organizing, processing, and analyzing conventional datasets; to quantifying the relationship between costs and benefits in healthcare decision-making; and to identifying trends, seasonality, and making forecasts from time-series data. AI-assisted tools can facilitate programming, data checking, and data exploration; however, selecting appropriate methods, developing models, and interpreting results still require a solid methodological foundation and analytical thinking.
On this basis, Southern Institute of Social Resource Development (hereinafter referred to as "Phuong Nam Institute") organizes the course series "Quantitative Analysis Using R – From Basic to Advanced", directly delivered by Prof Tuan V Nguyen in January 2027. The program details are as follows:
