Application of AI in Nursing Practice

The course aims to enhance participants’ ability to apply AI in nursing practice, improve the efficiency and quality of patient care, reduce operational costs for healthcare facilities, and optimize task performance for individuals and departments.

Specific objectives:

• 90% of participants will be able to use at least two basic AI tools;

• 80% of participants will apply AI in their daily work;

• 70% of participants will significantly improve work performance.

The training course is designed for nurses currently working in hospitals, medical centers, and individuals who are interested in learning about AI applications in healthcare.

• Ethics and data security

• Common AI tools used in nursing practice

Module 2: AI Applications in Patient Care

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): automatic nursing notes, patient summaries, and progress tracking

• Care Planning: personalized plans, risk assessment, and outcome monitoring

• Patient Education: generating learning materials, personalized consultations, and evaluating outcomes

• Updating EMRs (top priority)

• Drafting health education content

• Searching for information on drugs and medical conditions

• Accessing professional reference materials

• Developing patient care plans

Module 3: AI Applications in Administration

• Automating periodic statistical reports (monthly/quarterly)

• Building lookup and summary systems for new regulations/processes

• Using AI to review and enhance EMR data quality

• Document management: auto-classification, smart search, and regulation updates

• Data analysis and visualization: automatic charting and report generation

• Drafting administrative documents and reports

• Managing EMRs and statistical data

• Searching for updated regulations

Module 4: AI Applications in Management

• Data analysis and proposing quality improvement initiatives

• Optimizing human resource management and work scheduling

• Preparing professional reports and presentation slides for meetings

• Workforce management: productivity analysis and performance evaluation

• Drafting reports and meeting minutes (frequent tasks)

• Planning and organizational management (core function)

• Researching new professional materials

• Reporting and analysis: automatic report generation, trend analysis, and decision support

• Conducting research and creating presentation slides
